Hey Lovely Crafters.....
Halloween is just around the corner, so I can't wait to share my Halloween creation with you... created with our Product Focus - Funky Foam!!
This is an old favourite of mine, that was out when card making first began - so easy to use, yet sometimes now overlooked. Be prepared to have a little spooky fun with this card!!
Step 1
▪️I took a sheet of black card - folded and creased in half.
I mat and layered white and then black, then adhering with Woodware's Double Sided Tape.
Step 2
▪️Next, I used a white ink pad to stamp the bat using Jamie Rodgers Poisonous Potions Stamp Set from this years' Halloween Collection.
▪️I used a small stamp block to randomly stamped the bat over the black mat.
Step 3
▪️Using a sheet of white foam, I cut one of each of the 'dancing skeletons.'
You will love how nice and smooth this cuts :-)
▪️I used a black acrylic pen, and a metallic gold pen to colour in their hats.
▪️I then cut 2 flowers from the Creative Expressions Cosmos Flower die set in purple and orange foam, and used a Woodware's Ultra Fine Tip Glue Applicator to stick them together.
✅ TOP TIP - I found tacky glue is better to use directly on the foam.
▪️I used 2 dew drops and coloured the underneath with a silver metallic pen.
I used the tacky glue to add to the centre of the flower.
▪️Again using my Cosmos Flower Die Set, I cut out 2 sets of foliage from in green foam.
▪️My sentiment from my stash, was cut from white foam, and then I used Distress Oxide Inks in Bundled Sage and Spiced Marmalade to colour and blend together.
Step 4
Finally, using my Hot Glue Gun, I adhered all my elements to my card base.
A simple card but has dimension and colours are so very vibrant.
