Hello All......
Today I’m back with another project using Jamie Rodgers Crafts fabulous Tile Collection!
This one is perfect when you want a nice and simple card for batch making or last minute occasions
So let’s get started.......
Step 1
▪️Take the Butterfly Florals DL Stamp Set (with the "With Love" sentiment), along with the NEW Metallic Ink Pads - in Royal Purple.
▪️Stamp out with the above ink pad, and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.
▪️Now cut it out using one of the Nested Tile Dies that fits around the stamped image.
▪️Next take a 6x6" white card blank and cut an aperture from the front of the card using the largest Nested Tile Die (as seen in Picture 1 📸).
Step 2
▪️Now we need to line the card inside with Potion Purple Elite Card as the front is now weaker because of the aperture. However by doing this, it will strengthen it up!
▪️So take a piece of the Potion Purple Elite Card and cut the aperture again from it, and stick it inside matching the edges.
Then trim around the straight edges with scissors if needed, before gluing a plain piece in the inside back (as seen in Picture 2 📸).
It also looks rather lovely lined with the purple, don't you think......
▪️Next take the stamped tile and stick this on the back inside, so it sits in the centre of the aperture when closed.
Decorating the front.....
Here I used the above stencil, together with Amethyst Gemstone Glitter Texture Paste to create a row of gems down each side
✅ TOP TIP - This stencil is an absolute dream to use, and a gamechanger for precision.
You can also match the colours on your card perfectly... without hunting for similar pearls and gems.
To finish.....
I added a couple of butterflies from the lovely Elegant Butterflies Die Set; cut from Potion Purple Elite Card and White Vellum to soften the tone. I then added a few gems for that extra detail!
📝 NOTE - Jamie is brilliant at co-ordinating his products making our creations look that bit more professional.....
If you notice you can see the elegant butterfly dies match the butterflies in the stamps (see above in Picture 2 📸 )
