Hello Crafters.....

Today's card inspiration comes from the recent launch at Craftmania of Sizzix Dies and Embossing Folders

Step 1

▪️Cut a piece of Kraft card to fit the Floral Pillows Embossing Folder and emboss in your machine.

▪️Next take the Cosmic Shimmer Chalk Cloud Blending Ink - Princess Pink and a Blending Tool.

✅ Here I've used a Mini Ink Blending Tool with Domed Applicators.

Go over the top of the embossed piece (as seen in picture one 📸)

▪️Next take a VersaMark Ink Pad and wipe it over the same piece

▪️Shake over clear embossing powder and heat emboss.

Trim this to 5 ⅝ inches x 4 inches.

▪️To finish this piece, tie ribbon and bow around as seen with some baby pink satin sheer ribbon.

Step 2

▪️Take a Kraft card 6½ x 4¾ inches, and mat with a light pink card - 4¼ x 6 inches.

▪️Then on the back of the Floral Pillows piece, stick foam roll and stick this to the matted Kraft card (as seen in picture 2 📸).

▪️Next from the die set Geo Floral Frames, cut two of the small frames in Kraft card and stick them on the card (as seen in Picture 2 📸).

▪️Set aside for now.

Step 3

▪️From the same die set, cut out two of each of the foliage dies and three of each of the flowers and centres.

▪️Now colour all of these flowers using Chalk Cloud Ink (as above 📸) and Distress Oxide Ink Pads - Kitsch Flamingo and Mustard Seed.

▪️For the foliage use -

Peeled Paint

Shabby Shutters

Iced Spruce

Bundled Sage

Rustic Wilderness

Once done you may stick these all onto the card around the frames.

To finish the card, cut out a sentiment of your choice.

Here I've used "Just For You" cut out in light pink card with some additional pearls adhered in the flower centres.

I really love having a play around with these folders and dies - very effective and also super easy to pop in the post!!
