Hey Crafters!

Today I'm bringing you an elegant, but simple card using an easy technique that gives the most AMAZING results! We will be embossing without using a folder or even a machine..... intrigued? Well let me show you how.....

Step 1 : Take a sheet of A4 pink Pearl Card and score it in half. Cut to size to make a 6x6 card base.

Step 2 : Use your own method of securing your card for stencilling.

✅ I've found the best way (and now won't use anything else) but the best way and won't use anything else) is Wendy Cecchi's - Make Art Stay-tion.

Here I have used the Kaiser Craft Tile Pattern 6x6" Stencil

Step 3 : Take a palette knife and a jar of Cosmic Shimmer Glossy Glaze - Inspired Lilac, and gently apply over the entire stencil, removing any raised areas.

Remove the stencil carefully put into soapy water immediately and set card aside to dry.

✅ Put into soapy water immediately after use

📝 Note : The glaze will appear clear than coloured, as it's on coloured card.

Using on white card would show a stronger colour.

Amazing result isn't it! I have fallen in LOVE with this paste!

Step 4 : I used a couple of die sets for the next part of the card. One is the Wings Of Wonder Butterfly Swirl Corner.

I cut the corner in a lighter pink Pearl Card, and then cut the back plate for the central butterfly in Rose Gold Mirri Card. I then glued this at the back using a white glue.

I then glued the corner to the top left of the front of the card.

Step 5 : Taking the other die set - Wings Of Wonder Butterfly - Butterfly Confetti; I used Rose Gold Mirri Card to cut out some of the small butterflies. Always good to keep extras for another project.

Add 3 of the smallest to the corner.

Step 6 : Again using the Rose Gold Mirri, I cut my sentiment. I chose Creative Expressions - "There"s Only One Like You." I used Woodware's Ultra Fine Glue Applicator to glue this to the bottom right of the card base.

TIP - Creative Expressions Sticky Specks are perfect for intricate die cuts. I recommend giving them a try!!

Step 7 : I added several of the other sizes of butterflies around the sentiment.

That is it... simple yet elegant!!

Thanks for your time, and I do hope you'll have fun trying out this technique, and it has given you some inspiration. And if you haven't yet tried the Cosmic Shimmer Glossy Glazes... you won't be disappointed, they are seriously addictive :-)

Take care and I will be back with you all soon :-)
