Design Team ~ Vintage Cars By Lynn Lewis

Hello lovely crafters....

So I literally only had one of these vintage cars left on the sheet, so thought it would be the perfect opportunity to use it on this card today, which is called a reverse easel card

Step 1

Take the decoupage sheet and make up the green car.

I used 3D glue and stuck it onto a bit of white card when finished, and then cut around it to give an outline.

Step 2

Take a 7x7 card blank and cut it down to make a 16 x 16 cm card

Fold the front in half towards the left side, and crease with your Bone Folder.

Step 3

Take a couple of sheets of the Dovecraft Kraft Coloured Card run through with Nellie Snellen's Cogwheels 3D Embossing Folder. Do a couple of the cut off bits as well!!

Then take Cosmic Shimmer's Gilded Touch in Autumn Bronze and a Ranger / Woodware Blending Tool and gently cover over the cogs on all the other elements.

It will give them a 'bronze look' with a bluish tint (as seen 📸).

Step 4

Make up the panels

We need the following :-

▪️1 x 14.5 x 14.5 cm silver mirror card

▪️1 x 14 x 14 cm. Kraft card cogs

Mat these together and stick on the large square side of the card.

▪️2 x 14.5 x 7 cm silver mirror card

▪️2 x 14 x 6.5 cm Kraft card cogs

Mat these two panels and stick them on the two small panels of the card as seen.

Then the panel for the car

▪️1 x 11.5 x 11.5 cm silver mirror card

▪️1 x 11 x 11 cm A turquoisey colour sheet as seen from Jamie Rodgers Candy Clouds Pad .

Mat these together and stick the car on the panel .

For the bar

▪️1 x 14.5 x 2.5 cm silver mirror card

▪️1 x 14 x 2.2 cm turquoisey colour sheet as above

▪️1 x 13.5 x 1.8 cm Kraft card cogs.

Mat these together and stick the bar on the large square as seen on foam roll.

Its 4.5cm from the bottom edge.

Step 5

NOTE - Stick the car panel on with foam roll, but the top half only as it’s the opposite of a normal easel card.

Mine is 1.5cm from the top edge.

Now cut out some cogs from the spare bits and stick them as seen on the panel.

Step 6

To finish the card add a sentiment

I used Jamie Rodgers Sentiments Collection - Essential 2

"Happy Birthday" and "Grandad" from the same Collection - Male Relations.

Cut these out in the colours (as seen📸) and stick them on with foam pads.

Then lastly stick a few grey pearls on the cogs on the car panel and the bar.

The finished card size is as it started 16 x 16 cm.
