For this card I have used from the pack -
I have also used -
Background - This is created with just a simple mist of water and the Delicate Blossom - Shimmer Shaker, allowing the colour to burst out and blend in areas. TOP TIP - Mist both sides of the card so it stays flat - When you apply moisture to one side of card it tends to bow and create runs in the effect. - Top Tip from the amazing Jane Gill! Card Front - I have taken a mop headed paint brush and a tiny amount of Delicate Blossom Shimmer Shaker.. Misted it slightly with water and then blended it over the front of the card to give a light pink hue. How to Dome - Take your card blank.. Cut the circle die in to the front of the card. Now measure the height of your card blank (for instance mine is 7") Then dome your card front and see how shallow or deep you wish for your dome to be.
For instance let's say you want the dome to be 5" wide, cut a piece of card 6" x 7" pop this sheet on to your board in a portrait position (so we are not scoring down the 7" side - remember we need to retain the height so this panel matches the height of the card blank). Score down each side at 0.5" and attach to the inside of your card to create a dome.
To attach the panel add glue to the two scored areas, and apply one side to the edge of your card blank and the other side to the edge against the spine (still attaching it to the main front panel, don't be tempted to cross the spine and stick it to the insert side of the card).
