In The Frame ~ Bundle ~ Bird Frame By Lynn Lewis

Hi again .
Today... I just had to make a card using the 'bird in the frame' picture from one of the 12 x 12 sheets from the Bundle!! It’s a nice simple one so let’s give it go!
Step 1
Take an 8x8 Card Blank and the pinstripe card from the Bundle.
If you've not tried the pinstripe card yet, you will love it!! It's such a good weight and the pinstripes are subtle and not in your face).
Cut it to fit the card and then glue it on.
Step 2
Take the 12 x12 sheet with the bird in the frame, and cut out that complete square.
Then take the cream textured card and cut a 15.5cm x 15.5cm square.
Mat and stick the bird square into it.
Step 3
Now take Craftmania's Burgundy Ribbed Card in the pack, and cut that to measure 16.5 x 16.5 cm square. Mat that behind the cream underneath the bird and set aside.
Step 4
Taking the cream card again, cut a piece measuring 20cm x 7.5cm.
Cut another piece of the Burgundy Ribbed Card to 19.2cm x 6.5 cm.
Next take the 12 x12 sheet again, and cut out the piece that has lines on it.
(You don’t need the other bit - cut it straight in half).
If you look at the pictures below, you will see I have stuck the burgundy card on top of the cream and the line bits one at each end.
Step 5
Take the widest ribbon in the pack, along with some Ultra Sticky Red Liner Tape and place it along the left side of the card at 4cm from the left edge.
Stick it down on the card and turn the edges over, around the inside of the card front.
✅ This can be covered with another bit of card when you’ve finished.
Step 6
Now take the strip you made earlier, and stick it across the centre of the card.
Take the bird top and stick that onto the card with foam pads; slightly more to the top 1cm from the top edge.
Step 7
From the 12x12 sheet again, cut the blue chevron strip out as well as the blue tag.
Draw around the tag and cut out another of each in cream and burgundy.
Stick them all together as seen.
Now take one of the beautiful metal roses and glue this on top.
Take the blue chevron strip and stick that across the bottom of the card.
Step 8
To finish......
Take the 12x12 sheet with the quotes on it
Cut out the "Happy Birthday" sentiment and then mat it onto the Burgundy Ribbed Card and cream card. Adhere it onto the card as seen with foam pads.
Next using Jamie Rodgers Sentiment Collection - Male Relative Die Set, cut out "Dad" in burgundy card. Glue it onto the tag, and then stick the tag onto the card with foam pads (as seen).
And finished.....
I just love how the frame around the bird stands out like it's actually real :-)
