Hello Crafters.....
For this weeks' card I'm using a selection of Jamie Rodgers Crafts Collection including the
Poinsettia Foliage Stamp Set and the AMAZING Foiled Inkables!!
Step 1
As seen in Picture 1 📸 - place a Gold Circular Frame Inlables Panel onto your Stamp Platform, and rub over it with a Magic Anti-Static Pad.
✅ TOP TIP - The Magic Anti-Static Pad prepares your surface for stamping and eliminates static that prevents embossing powders clinging to unwanted areas of your image, giving you a crisp result!
Next take the mistletoe stamp from the above set and choose a sentiment from the
Centre both stamps onto the panel (as seen below 📸) and stamp these out with a VersaMark Ink Pad.
As seen in Picture 2 📸 - add gold embossing powder and heat emboss your stamped images.
✅ TOP TIP - Make sure your Heat Tool is hot before going on to the card, so you don’t over bend the panel.
Colour the mistletoe with the pens (above) and add some Crystal - Ranger Stickles to the berries for that little extra detail, before setting aside.
Step 2
▪️Stamp and heat emboss 6 of Poinsettias - colour 2 green and 4 red with the Nova Watercolour Pens.
📝 NOTE
Of course you can stamp your images directly onto Gladiator Red and Heritage Green Elite Card This is an alternative to colouring and gives a great finish too.
As seen in Picture 2 📸 - fussy cut them out
📝 NOTE - With the top one - just cut out the middle
✅ TOP TIP - Tweezer scissors are perfect for fussy cutting and give you great control over the small detail
Step 3
Make up the Poinsettias by layering them with foam pads and set aside (as seen in Picture 3 📸)
Cut out the following to create your mat and layers and then mat them on top of each other :-
▪️Gold Mirror Card - measuring approx 15½ cm x 15½ cm
▪️Gladiator Red Elite Card - 15cm x 15cm
▪️Heritage Green Elite Card - 14½ cm x 14½ cm
Next cut down your Foiled Inkables Panel to 14cm x 14cm and stick this on top.
Now adhere these onto a cut down 7x7" card blank that measures 16½ cm x 16½ cm
Step 4
To finish..... glue on your layered Poinsettias (as seen above 📸) using
Jamie Rodgers Crafts Clear Drying Glue with the so easy to use lid and applicator!
Make a beautiful red bow and then stick it just above the mistletoe.....
