Jamie Rodgers Fairy Wishes Collection - Tranquil Garden By Ian Rump-Smith

Today's blog features a make using Jamie Rodgers new Collection - Fairy Wishes!!
Step 1
You will need a 7x7 white card base.
I cut 2 mats; one is Pink Maya Card and the other is with Creative Expressions Coconut White Foundation Card.
Using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink Pad with a Blending Brush, I made the sky background on the white mat.
I glued both mats onto my card front.
Step 2
Next I took the Enchanted Lattice Die and cut a background in Craftmania's Butterscotch Parchment Card, and the lattice section in white.
I glued these together and then attached to the left side of my card base.
Step 3
Ok so the next part is a little fiddly, but hang on in there with me.... it doesn't take long!
▪️Cut out the Entwined Rose Border in Maya Card - Dark Green and Deep Pink.
▪️Here I cut off the pink roses and stuck them to my green die cut using Craft Artist Tacky Glue.
✅ TIP - Do this one at a time, so not to get confused (easily done lol)
Step 4
▪️Use the above die set to the mushroom and the fairy in white.
I then coloured in the mushroom stem and inside with my Nova Brush Pens, as well as the skin of the fairy and wand.
▪️I cut the mushroom in a deep red, and then the fairy wings mat silver, hair in orange and dress in light green.
▪️I cut these roughly as I then paper pieced them onto the base fairy and mushroom.
Step 5
▪️Next you cut 2 of the smallest flowers and a stamen from the Deckled Edge Blossoms Die Set.
▪️I used a Blending Brush and Dusty Concord Distress Oxide Ink to add colour to my flower petals.
▪️I then moulded the flower on my Shaping Pal Mat with an Embossing Tool.
I glued the flower together and stuck into the base.
Step 6
The final step is the sentiment...
▪️I chose the "With Love" Die Set and cut the scroll in cream card and wording in black card.
I added to the card with foam squares.
And that is my card complete.....
