Midnight Roses

For this super simple card, all I have done is run a piece of black card through my machine inside the Rose Bed embossing folder. I have then taken my choice of Pixie Sparkles and tapped a small amount out in to a paint palette and added a couple of drops of water to create my own sparkly paint. I have then flipped over my embossed panel so I am working on the reverse of the panel, then painted in the details as I wished, not worrying too much if I go over the edges. Leave to dry.. and then take a black ink pad and gently smooth it over the top of the panel. This will ink over any areas that you slightly went over the edges. To give a bolder finish I then heat embossed the ink in clear embossing powder so the outline has a gloss effect.
