Nellie Snellen Design Team Spotlight ~ Wintery House By Lynn Lewis

Hello All :-)
Well I am sad to say this is my last Blog with Nellie Snellen's Stamps.... for now!! I hope you enjoy it, so let's get started!!
Today we will be making a small card with this lovely Wintery House Stamp.
▪️Take a 5x5" scalloped edged card blank
▪️Cut a circle frame out of Kraft Card using Sue Wilson's Noble Collection - Double Stitched Circle Nesting Dies.
▪️Adhere this circle to the centre of your card.
✅ I usually fold a bit of low tack tape in half to secure it underneath, or magnets on my board.
Colouring
Take a selection of Distress Oxide Ink Pads. Here I have used these colours :-
1️⃣ Wilted Violet
2️⃣ Chipped Sapphire
3️⃣ Salvage Patina (one of my favourites)
4️⃣ Kitsch Flamingo
5️⃣ Black Soot
▪️Place you card on a Blending Mat, under your work to before you start.
▪️Now blend these colours around the edges of the card, while making sure you have your hand on the magnets on your Wendy Vecchi Mat on the circle.
▪️Go over it gently with some Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink as well, and more colour if needed.
Then take a white pen and dot it around the coloured edges as seen.
▪️Now remove the circle template; take your stamp and card to your platform and stamp out your image using a Versafine Onyx Black Ink Pad.
▪️Next, using the Double Stitched Circle Dies, make a frame using Craftmania's Silver Non-Shed Glitter Card to fit the circle perfectly. Adhere to card.
▪️Now take some Cosmic Shimmer Twinkles - Aurora Twinkle.
Carefully stick some around your image - including the branches, roofs and ground.
▪️Finish with that all important sentiment.....
I've chosen "Joyful Tidings" from Jamie Rodgers Pierced Collection, in white card.
And there you have another "quickie" card.... perfect when you have lots of Christmas cards to get through, and easy to batch make!!
