Hello Fellow Crafters,
It's Christmas in July again... and today I bring you my second instalment of a card which has been made with the New Paper Boutique Collection ~ Festive Frolics.
For this project you will need :-
I started with a C5 card which I cut a third off of the front.
Next I used one of the inserts with the single polar bear, and cut around the edge of the bear, but still leaving him attached.
I then applied this to the front of the card so that the polar bear was over hanging the front right side.
For the next step, I cut a polar bear from one of the toppers that is slightly smaller than the other bear, but this makes it look like a couple. I added this this next to the other bear using foam pads.
Using the other side of the insert, I cut a strip to fit in the inside of the right side of the card so it matches up when the card is closed.
Using holographic silver card, I cut a strip for the left hand side and then a thinner strip for the right hand side.
Using one of the topper sentiments, I cut a slightly bigger circle using a die and attached this to the front with half over hanging. I did the same with the Partner sentiment; I matted this on a piece of the holographic card.
For the finishing touches, I added 3 gems to strip on the bottom left.
