Spellbinders Design Team ~ Merriest Christmas By Lynn Lewis

Today I am bringing you a lovely Poinsettia die along with the Wistful Window Dies from Spellbinders... I hope you like them!!

Step 1

Firstly, if you would like to make Poinsettia's like mine above, I would recommend you to watch this YouTube video, showing you how to make Spellbinders Susan Tierney Cockburns Poinsettias.

Step 2

Cut out your Poinsettias using Craftmania's Fallen Snow Textured Card

I chose this especially for this project, as it has a lovely texture to make the Poinsettias looks really snowy white.

You will need...

▪️3 large

▪️2 small

▪️2 of each extra leaf bracts

▪️A set of centres per Poinsettia.

I made three Poinsettia's in total

I used a gold pen for the stamens and Cosmic Shimmer 3D Pearl Accent Glue for the little balls on the ends. If you can’t get the colour you want use an alcohol marker pen or some very small pearls.

Step 3

Make up your Poinsettias as in the video and set aside.

Step 4

Cut out the 3 frames of the Wistful Window dies in white card

Step 5

Using the outer dies to the frames, cut out backs of the frame using Gold Mirror Card and then adhere the white frames onto them.

Step 6

Take an 8x8 card blank and cut it down to a size of 19.5cm x14.5 cm (or 5 5/8 x 7 3/4 inches)

Mat onto it a piece of Gold Mirror Card measuring 18cm x 13 cm (or 7 1/8 x 5 1/8 inches)

Step 7

Layer all the frames onto the card with foam pads.

Step 8

Cut out the sentiment "Merriest Christmas" from Sue Wilson’s Festive Collection in Gold Mirror Card. Stick it onto the centre of the oval as seen below.

Step 9

Glue on your poinsettias to finish....

Here I used a Hot Glue Gun for speed, but Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue is a great alternative.
