Spellbinders Spotlight - Wedding Wishes By Ian Rump-Smith

Spellbinders Spotlight - Wedding Wishes By Ian Rump-Smith | Craftmania

Hey Crafters!

Here is my first entry for the new Design Team 'Spotlight' on the Spellbinders dies.....

This is probably the simplist card I have blogged to date, so whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned crafter, it's a great card to make - so let's get started!!

▪️I used the Spellbinders Bella Ovalette Die Set for my Wedding card.

▪️Using the outer die, cut 2 with Foundations Coconut White Card, and stick together to create our base so it will stand up!

▪️To do this, take one layer and with the back of the die cut, make a score line -

(I used a ruler and an Bone Folder).

TIP - The pattern helps you find a level, however don't do the score line too far down.

▪️Slightly bend your crease, and then add glue to the top and line up your top layer and stick together.

▪️Next, cut the delicate die cut layer - this has so much detail, it's stunning :-)

Again, I used my Foundations Coconut White Card for all the following die cuts.

TIP - I also used Woodware's Ultra Fine Tip Glue Applicator Glue Bottle as they are perfect for working with intricate dies. Another great option is Creative Expressions Sticky Specks.

▪️Glue this to the card.... you will now be seeing the detail come together.

▪️Now cut one of each of the following die cuts, and notice that 2 of the die cuts will need 2 dies to cut. Use my photo to see how these layers go together and glue to the front of the card.

▪️I cut some of the flowers next - how many is totally up to you. I cut 4 of the Daisies and then 6 of the other (12 cuts in total as 2 layers per flower). Also cut some of the leaves.

▪️Use a ball tool to give a little dimension to the flowers and then glue these to your card.

For the centre, I used the tiny oval die and cut in silver glitter card and added a gem stone.

▪️For my sentiment, I used Creative Expressions Mini Expressions Die "On Your Wedding Day." This fits perfectly in the top right hand corner of the card.

▪️Finish by adding white pearls to the centre of your flowers.

See you soon with another blog featuring a different Spellbinder Set and design...

And don't forget to share your makes with us on our Facebook Group - Create With Craftmania And Jamie Rodgers - we would love to see them!!
