Spellbinders Spotlight ~ A Trellis Of Roses By Lynn Lewis

Spellbinders Spotlight ~ A Trellis Of Roses By Lynn Lewis | Craftmania

Hello Lovely Crafters....

Ok so I have a confession lol ..... I think I’m a little hooked on these trellis panels!!

▪️To start, get your Maya coloured card out - you will need Moss Green and Khaki

1️⃣ Cut out the smaller leafy panels (one of each colour) and then using the same colours.

2️⃣ Cut out the leaves - 4 small and 4 large using Moss Green for backs and Khaki for fronts

3️⃣ Plus the roses - 2 of each in Red and Burgundy Maya Card. Use burgundy for the backs and red for the fronts.

▪️Now take a white DL card blank and with a piece of crumpled gold ribbon, stick this down on the centre back of the card. (Use whatever ribbon you have to hand, even a silk gold card will do).

▪️Next, trim and stick your leafy panels together so that the Moss Green is showing from behind, and then stick this over the ribbon.

▪️Cut 2 strips of Khaki Card on your paper trimmer measuring ¼ inch wide, and glue this to the panels as seen in the pictures below.

▪️Now make up your roses - round them off a bit before sticking them to the trellis with foam pads.

Also make up your leaves and tuck them in with a little glue.

▪️To finish, I used the back off of Jamie Rodgers' Pierced Collection - "Merry Christmas" Die Set. ✅ Using a little trick he showed us the other day by using the die again to shorten it loved that !

This was cut out of Burgundy Maya Card, and the "With Love" from his Sentiments Collection - Essentials 2 Set in Moss Green. Tuck the sentiment in with glue and it’s finished!!

Hope you are enjoying these sets as much as I am....

Enjoy you day

Lynn x
