Spellbinders Spotlight ~ Happy Anniversary By Lynn Lewis

Spellbinders Spotlight ~ Happy Anniversary By Lynn Lewis | Craftmania Blog

Hello crafters

Today I am sharing another way of using the Spellbinders Peekaboo Trellis Panels Die Set.

▪️Take some Khaki and Moss Green Maya Card and cut the larger leaf panel in each colour.

Trim around the edges neatly, and as before, stick one behind the other so you create that shadow effect .

▪️Then using the flower dies, cut out the backs in Lilac Maya card and the outer flower in Purple - stick these together.

▪️Then using Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad - Seedless Preserves, I brushed a little into the centres of each flower. For that special sparkle, I also added a little Cosmic Shimmer Glue and sprinkled on some Creative Expressions Berry Bling Holographic Glitterbitz and then set aside.

🌟 This is no ordinary glitter - as you can see they contain different colour shades and 3 particle sizes to give the ultimate sparkle effect which is hard to capture and do justice in a photo!!

▪️Next take a 7x7 card blank and stick your leafy panel across the bottom half of the card in tent gold mode. You will have to trim off the sides a little to ensure it fits nicely.

▪️Then with the Khaki Maya Card, cut two strips measuring ½ inch wide, and stick those onto the edges of the panel on the card. Now take the flowers and slightly round them off and place them on the card as seen using foam pads.

▪️To finish, I used chose Sue Wilson’s NEW "Happy Anniversary" Shadowed Sentiment.

I cut the back element out twice in purple and khaki, and the words in lilac before sticking them together. As you can see I've layered the purple so it is showing out from the bottom.

Adhere on the top centre of the card on foam pads.

There you have a very nice easy Anniversary card ready to go.....

Happy crafting and I look forward to seeing you with my next project soon :-)
