Hello Craftmates....
Today I’m bringing you this very elegant card from the Spellbinders Peekaboo Trellis Panels set.
To be fair....I've literally just followed the instructions on the back of the pack, but it's a great to see the design brought to life, with my own interpretation :-)
▪️Lets start by cutting 2 pieces of card - 5 x 7 inches and another piece 7½ inches x 5 inches.
I chose to use Craftmania's White Linen Card for mine.
▪️Next, take the small leafed panel and place this onto your larger piece of card, so that it’s at the bottom (about an inch away from the side) then cut it out.
▪️Cut the same panel out in Gold Mirror Card - cut that out with a small border on the sides, and as you can see, stick this behind the white one so it just shadows.
Snip off the excess bits, and score along the top of the panel - it's about ½ inch.
▪️Now cut two gold ¼ inch wide strips, and glue down the sides of the front panel, up to the score line. Trim off tops and bottoms.
▪️Burnish that fold and take one of your previously cut pieces of card, and stick it to the fold so the folded piece is on the inside. Then take the other piece and glue that on the inside so it covers the folded piece and makes the card more sturdier.
▪️Now all thats left to do is cut out the flowers using white and purple Maya Card, and then the leaves in green and white. Stick these together....
▪️Cut your "Hugs" sentiment in Gold Mirror Card and if you want another gold Leafy panel to snip some out and tuck round the flowers as I have done.
✅ Glue these all on flat for easy postage and it’s done!!
Such an easy card to make, but so classy :-)
