Hi Craft-mates.....
Today I’m bringing you Spellbinders Sweetheart Envelope And Note Set.
I’m really starting to love the simplicity of these dies, and I think you will too....
This set makes a neat little envelope to sit in front of the card which is great for tucking in a gift voucher, money or note inside!!
Let's get started.....
▪️ Cut out the actual base for the pocket in white card; it says cut out one, but I cut out two because I think it looks better than seeing the back of the cut out, if you get what I mean.
▪️ Snip the bottom off of one and then stick one on top of the other back to back, so that the good side is facing you when the base is folded up. Refer to my pictures for guidance :-)
▪️ See above - Cut out the filigree piece out of white card and the plain piece in pink card.
You will also need to cut out some flowers and leaves in pink and green, and also a pink filigree heart.
▪️ Next stick the pink piece behind the white, and adhere this to the inside of the envelope.
Then fold up the front, folding the side pieces around the back and before gluing down.
There you have a neat little envelope.
▪️ Now to decorate.....
I chose the pink heart that I stuck white card behind and flowers with leaves, however there is also a filigree rectangle that could be stuck onto the front if you don't want to use the heart!
I glued these on, but could use foam roll if you wish to add more dimension.
▪️ To finish, I added a sentiment from Jamie Rodger’s Sentiments Collection - Essentials 2 -
"With Love." The two layers were cut in white and green for the base.
▪️For finishing touches, I added a little bow and finished the flowers with a pearl in each.
I then used Sue Wilson's Noble Scalloped Square in a lighter pink on top of a 6x6 card blank, and stuck my little envelope on top at a slight angle .
Now I've found this ... I think this will be a popular one with me for gift cards :-))
