Spotlight Oakwood Glitter Brush Pens ~ Mixed Bunch! By Lynn Lewis

Spotlight Oakwood Glitter Brush Pens ~ Mixed Bunch! By Lynn Lewis | Craftmania

Hi all....

I've had another play with Jane Gill's Mixed bunch stamp today, so thought I'd share.....

▪️I cut out a square from white card, using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Square Dies.

Using my Stamping Platform, Woodware Magic Anti-Static Pad and VersaMark Ink Pad, I stamped across opposite the corners and then embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Detail Gold Embossing Powder.

▪️Next I coloured my image in using the Amethyst, Magenta Apple Green, Gold and Turquoise Oakwood Glitter Brush Pens.

✅ I squeezed them out onto a tile, and then used a Waterbrush to apply them to the image .

There are no rules here.... I just painted as I felt; diluting colours with water or using them more condensed for where needed.

▪️When I was happy with the flowers and leaves, I then squeezed out some 'turquoise' and diluted it with the Waterbrush. I washed around the rest of the card without touching the other colours with the brush,

TIP - I avoided brushing in one place for too long as this is not watercolour card.

After it was dry I flicked my Clear Glitter Brush Pen randomly, but you can also use white from a Cosmic Shimmer Paint Pallet if you wish.....

▪️Next, I matted and layered up the card to fit a 7x7 card blank, along with using a pierced square in mirror card and behind the image Maya purple card.

▪️To finish, I cut out Sue Wilson's sentiment "Hope Your Day Is Wonderful' in white card, then painted over it with the Magenta Glitter Pen. Once it was dry, I stuck it to the card.

▪️I had some of the Butterfly Confetti (from Jamie Rodgers Wings Of Wonder Die) already cut out in gold silk mirror card, so I stuck some of those on too.

I hope you are finding some inspiration using these glitter pens.... they are such fun, and truly beautiful to work with.

Until next time

Take care

Lynn x
