I know this one may feel like common sense, but I personally often forget that I can add more to printed backgrounds, I tend to use them as they are, and actually adding your own twist to them can really change the feel of them.
Let’s be honest, most paper pads have at least one sheet you’re not the biggest fan of… next time you flick past it in the pad… think of adding some stamping to it or embossing it in a folder… etc… you may just fall in love with that sheet after all.
