Blended Stamping
Updated: Feb 5, 2022

An idea for you all to try - if you wish….
So I wasn’t bonkers about the outcome of this project, and I’m not sure this Warm Cocoa was the best colour choice… but I do think the idea has legs… So I thought I would share this with you to see if you wanted to give it a try….
Stamping on wet cardstock… Recipe - Take a sheet of card, moisten it on both sides so it stays flat (Top Tip from Jane Gill) then stamp on the card using a non water resistant pad… meaning it will wick, and fade out in areas… For this image, once dry I painted the dots with a watered down pea size blob of Glitter kiss so it was rather transparent… And distressed around the edges with the same Colour Cloud - Warm Cocoa
To finish off I added random dots of Burnt Carmel Pearl Tints and a ribbon.
As I say, I’m not really that in love with this version of it… but I did like the fact when it smudged out a little it gave more of a fabric look….

This may be a technique that needs a little experimenting with, card stock, amount of water & type of ink would all have huge effects on the end results (possibly).
Seed planted for anyone who wants to try something new
