Jamie Rodgers' Pierced Collection - Butterfly Triple Panel By Ian Rump-Smith

Hello Everyone!

Hope you are all well and doing plenty of crafting with all the latest goodies.....

Today I am sharing with you a card made using Jamie's NEW Pierced Collection.

▪️For the card base you will need a sheet of A3 card to cut out a base measuring 45cm x 18.2cm. Use the excess for another card as we crafters waste nothing :-)

Now score the card at 15cm and 30cm to give you the tri-fold.

▪️Next I used the Oval Heart Frame from the Collection and cut it out twice in one colour, and again in another coordinated colour.

TIP - Save the inner ovals for later and also some of the pieces from one of the darker panels, all will be revealed later!

▪️Use the inside outline die first, and then run through your machine again with the inner patterned die. I have chosen to use dark classic colours here, but imagine this in a pink, yellow or a purple and teal! I've used greens (although one looks a little blue lol)

▪️Using the outer die again, run through your machine 3 times using white card (or use some of the excess from earlier).

▪️Glue each die cut pattern to a back panel and then using 2mm foam tape, glue to the card base. Make sure the single colour goes in the middle.

DECORATING THE PANELS

▪️For the first panel, I used the Pierced Butterfly & Flower Frame set.

I cut the centre butterfly oval out in white, and then used the darker oval from earlier to put behind. Glue these in the centre.

▪️I added a sentiment and silver pearls to each corner.

Sparkling gems were added to the flowers in the centre piece.

▪️The second panel I used the centre oval from the light card, and then using white card I cut the centre oval with the Oval Heart Frame.

▪️Glue these to the centre and add silver pearls to the corners. Tiny pearls were added to the oval and I used colours to match my panels.

This panel is a little different.

▪️I cut an oval in white and then stamped a sentiment onto it.

Now remember we saved some of the pieces from the panel which we die cut earlier; this is how I made the heart by interlocking 2 of the swirls and trimming down.

▪️I finished this panel by adding gems underneath the sentiment, and added 4 silver pearls again to the corners.

And that is it...!! A super simple card to make which looks so expensive.

I feel another one in brighter colours coming on lol.

Thanks guys for checking out my blog, and I look forward to sharing another creation with you soon.

Both Lynn and I have lots more up our sleeves, so keep an eye out on the Blog, the website and Facebook for updates. Remember, if you've been inspired, we'd love you to share your makes with us on our Group - Create With Craftmania And Jamie Rodgers.

Take care
