Sweet Dixie Spotlight -Congratulations By Lynn Lewis

Hello Crafters......
Today's card is made using Sweet Dixie's Die - Filigree Pram.
As always, you can find the Shopping List for my project at the bottom of this page
You will need your Maya card stock, to cut the following :-
▪️One using Dark Pink
▪️One in Light Pink
▪️One in white
Paper piece these together (as seen) using Cosmic Shimmer Dries Clear Glue.
✅ TIP - I always use my little Vaessen Creative Tweezer Scissors for this.
▪️Now, using your dark pink card, cut a square to fit a 7"x 7" Card Blank. For this, I used Sue Wilson's Noble Double Pierced Squares. Adhere your square to your card, with either glue, or double sided tape (whichever you prefer).
▪️Take the pram you created earlier, and stick this in the middle of your card, before decorating with pearls.
✅ TIP - Create your own coloured pearls... Here I coloured my white pearls with a pink Alcohol Pen so they matched my project.
▪️Next using the same Noble Dies, cut a frame in white to go on top (see my photo below).
▪️Now, take the Sweet Dixie Die Set - Geometric Corners and Borders and cut 4 of the larger corners in light pink, and then stick these behind the white frame as seen.
▪️To create some dimension, I popped some foam pads on my frame before placing onto my card.
▪️To finish, I chose Jamie Rodgers' Sentiment Collection - Essential 1 - 'Congratulations.'
I cut this in the light pink card, and glued along the bottom of the frame.
From the same Collection, I then used
New Baby Sentiments - cut out it’s a Girl in the light pink too, and added this to the top. I placed pearls in the four corners of my card for my finishing touches....
I hope you are enjoying our "Spotlight" on Sweet Dixie... these colourful Sweet Dixie cards they so simple to make, and are easy to pop together if you need them as a last minute card...
