One of the easiest boxes in the world!

Updated: Feb 5, 2022

You will need -

Glue & Card

Take 2 x A4 sheets and follow the same first 4 stages with both... Stage One - Pop your sheet on your score board vertically and score at 4" & 8" (this will leave a thin scored area at the edge of approx 1/4".

Stage Two - Place your card in your score board horizontally and score at 2", turn your card round to the other end of the sheet and score at 2" as well.

Stage Three - You will now have created 2 small areas in your 1/4" strip area at the top and bottom of your sheet that can now be removed.

Stage Four - Cut up between the 2 x 4" sections at the top and bottom of the sheet of card

***This point you should have two identical sheets *** Stage Five - Add glue to one of the thin 1/4" strips and glue it to the side of the next sheet - being sure not to join both 1/4" areas together - as you now need to add glue to this second 1/4" strip.. and wrap it round and glue it to the other side of the first panel to create a tube...

Stage Six - For the base of my box I simply glue the flaps closed like a standard cardboard box

Stage Seven - On the top I interlock the flaps - here is where you could really do with a corner rounder punch to soften the corners and make your box look a little more professional ;)

Stage Eight - Decorate as you wish! Of course, if you wish to have shorter boxes you can simply trim some of the height off of your A4 sheets... and if you wish to have skinnier boxes you could of course change the measurements to create these too.... have a play around and see what you can create! Please do a practise one with cheap card, before cutting in to your finest Foundations card 😉
